VESSEL INTERESTS
Designed to protect the insured financial value of a vessel against specified war-related physical loss or damage. Potential perils, only when covered: war and civil war; hostile acts; terrorism and politically motivated violence; mines, missiles, torpedoes and other weapons of war; physical damage from covered attacks; capture, seizure or detention where expressly insured; other agreed perils.
CARGO INTERESTS
Designed to protect insured cargo interests against defined war-related loss or physical damage while in transit. Crude oil and refined products; LNG and LPG; dry bulk commodities; containerized goods; industrial machinery; other approved commercial cargo.
EXPRESSLY INCLUDED ONLY
Specialist coverage addressing eligible maritime exposures to terrorist or politically motivated acts, where expressly included. Definitions, exclusions, geographic scope and insured limits are determined in each policy.
INDIVIDUAL RISK REVIEW
Vessel type, age, flag, classification society, ownership and management, insured value, route, security exposure and period.
Cargo valuation, commodity characteristics, shipping documentation and route details are considered during underwriting.
BY AGREEMENT
War-related loss of hire; specified detention exposures; additional war-risk liabilities.
Multi-voyage or fleet arrangements; agreed transit extensions.
